My body takes a lot to maintain. It demands my attention, often with threats of dire consequences if I don’t comply. I am a medical lemon. I have doctors to rival Humpty Dumpty. I am a walking pharmaceutical guinea pig. Thank god I am walking thank god for doctors, and the rules of maintenance; I am HERE, and while it takes daily dedication, this is remarkable.

The images from this body of work are all self-portraits by tripod or delicate balance. They are in book form or generally displayed as diptychs, framed with humor and a dollop of exasperation.
